I have always been fascinated by technology, and when I wrote my first computer program at the age of 14, it was "love at first byte". I am fueled by a passion to make a positive difference in the world. From a very young age, I have had a desire to apply my gifts and talents to create a better future for mankind. I am inspired by the Space programs, as they ignite innovation useful to us all. I studied acupuncture and imagined the basic framework of creating software that would diagnose and provide the exact acupuncture points to use in healing astronauts on Mars where pharmaceuticals would be limited.
My passion is put into action through inspiring others. To help them discover how they can make positive choices and improve their lives. I do this professionally as well as personally. As a Senior Manager I inspire my teams to discover their best inside and outside of work. I serve in the Care Center at my church to provide prayer and counseling to those in need. I also co-lead a Christian Bible Study, serve on the board of a Charitable organization that serves our community and volunteer at the Prince William County Jail. I provide a quarterly inspirational message to women in prison, teaching them how to harness their potential and make positive choices so that when they enter back into society, they have the skills and hope for a better future.
I am the proud mother of a brilliant daughter who has a major in Physics with a minor in Math. I have a large family and we all love to spend time celebrating life together.
My husband and I enjoy playing golf regularly at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville VA and Lake Nona in Orlando FL. I enjoy being physically active, do regular gym workouts, hiking, golfing, scuba diving (NAUI certified), and am currently working towards my black belt in Tai Kwon Do.
I believe that I can make a difference and I DO.
